The presented recipe may seem tricky, however, making these tomato pies is very easy. They are delicious, with a thin and tender dough. They are also called "bombshell pies". This dish can surprise any guests.
It is necessary
- - flour (3-3, 5 stack.);
- - water (1 stack.);
- - vegetable oil (4 tablespoons);
- - sugar (1 tsp);
- - salt (1 tsp);
- - tomatoes (5 pcs.);
- - cottage cheese or feta cheese (200 g);
- - garlic (2 cloves);
- - favorite greens;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into medium-thick slices. If for this recipe you have cottage cheese - salt it, if cheese - mash it with a fork. Then add garlic squeezed through a press and finely chopped greens to the cottage cheese or cheese. Stir.
Step 2
Boil water, pour it into a bowl. Mix salt, sugar, vegetable oil and flour in it. Knead a soft dough out of this, leave it for 30 minutes.
Step 3
After 30 minutes, separate half of the dough and roll it into a large, thin, round layer. Place the tomato slices on top of it. The distance between them should be at least 3 cm. Place a filling of cottage cheese (or feta cheese) with garlic and herbs on each tomato circle.
Step 4
Roll the second piece of dough into an equally large, thin layer. Then carefully cover the first layer of filling with it. Pick up a glass or mug with a suitable diameter and cut future pies along the contour of each tomato circle. An example in the photo near this step.
Step 5
Pin the patties around the edges and fry them on both sides in a hot skillet with plenty of oil. Let the finished pies sit on a paper towel for a few minutes to remove excess oil. Serve with fresh vegetables.
