It is necessary
- - 200 g of black or green lentils;
- - 2 cm of ginger root;
- - 1 large onion;
- - 1 chili pepper;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- - oil, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse lentils, cover with cold water, leave for one hour.
Step 2
Drain the water, grind the lentils, it should turn out to be doughy. Can be ground with a blender or mortar.
Step 3
Peel the ginger and onion. Chop the onion smaller and grate the ginger on a small grater.
Step 4
Remove the seeds from the chili and chop finely.
Step 5
Mix lentils with onions, peppers, and ginger. Add soy sauce.
Step 6
Heat oil in a saucepan or cauldron, form small balls of lentils. Fry them until golden brown over moderate heat.
Step 7
Place on a paper towel to drain off excess oil. Serve hot balls, garnish with lettuce leaves.
