Kulebyaka is a pie that has some kind of filling. It can be both meat and vegetable. A primordially Russian dish. Today I offer you a recipe for kalebyaki with cabbage. Initially, such a dish was prepared only from yeast dough, and to this day this tradition has not changed.

It is necessary

  • - Flour - 500 g,
  • - dry yeast - 1/2 sachet,
  • - milk (or water) - 1 glass,
  • - butter - 50 g,
  • - 4 eggs,
  • - sugar - 2 tbsp. l.,
  • - salt -1 / 2 tsp.
  • For the filling you need:
  • - fresh cabbage - 1 kg,
  • - egg - 4 pcs.,
  • - onions - 2 pcs.,
  • - carrots - 2 pcs.,
  • - salt to taste,
  • - pepper to taste,
  • - vegetable oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Add yeast into flour, sift. Then pour in the warmed milk in a thin stream. Beat eggs together with sugar, add to the mixture. Add melted butter and salt.

Step 2

Knead the dough, leave to rise. Then knead the dough and wait again until it rises.

Step 3

After that, chop the cabbage and sauté in vegetable oil. Chop onions and carrots, fry with cabbage. Boil eggs, chop, add to cabbage. Salt and pepper. Roll out the dough, put the filling in the center, pinch the edges. Grease the top of the kulebyaka with yolk, decorate as desired.

Bake for 40 minutes. at 200 degrees. Delicious and appetizing kulebyaka with cabbage is ready. You can eat it as a separate dish, or with tea as a cake.
