Recently, the exotic avocado fruit has been widely used in Slavic cuisine. The fruit consists of a pulp and a large bone inside it.
What is avocado and what are its benefits for the body
The second name for avocado is alligator pear. Its homeland is South America, but today avocados are actively grown in many tropical parts of the world.
They pick the fruit when it is still green and firm, then wait for its gradual ripening. As a result, avocados are eaten when they become soft, resembling butter in consistency.
The fruit contains many vitamins useful for the human body. It consists of 30% fat, but unsaturated, which makes avocados an absolutely nutritious product. On the contrary, the alligator pear is able to cleanse the blood of excess cholesterol.
