This unusually simple recipe with a minimum amount of ingredients was suggested to me by a culinary friend. Even the one who for the first time decided to try to make cutlets with chicken filling on his own, the first time will master a valuable lesson and will delight loved ones with a healthy nutritious dish.

It is necessary

  • 1. Chicken meat - 1 kg.
  • 2. Semolina - 2 tbsp. spoons.
  • 3. Dill greens.
  • For filling (optional):
  • Option 1.
  • • Sweet bell pepper - 200 g.
  • • Parsley greens - 200 g.
  • • Butter - 100 g.
  • Option 2.
  • • Soft cheese half and half with ham - 300 g.
  • • Butter - 50 g.
  • Option 3.
  • • Parsley greens - 300 g.
  • • Soft cheese - 150 g.
  • • Butter - 100 g.

Instructions

Step 1

We clean the chicken meat from the skin and, together with the fat, pass it through a meat grinder. Salt and add cereals (thanks to semolina, the cutlets are airy and moderately loose). Knead the resulting mass thoroughly.

Step 2

From the heart for a few minutes we beat the minced meat on the hard surface of the kitchen table, and then let it sit for half an hour.

Step 3

Lightly sprinkle the working surface with flour so that the minced meat mass does not stick. We form round cakes from it with a thickness of 1-1.5 cm and a diameter of 7-8 cm (you can use special forms or an ordinary glass).

Step 4

Put a moderate amount of filling in the middle of the tortillas (1-2 teaspoons per serving will be enough).

Step 5

Fold the stuffed tortillas in half, pinch the ends of it with your fingers in the middle (as if we are sculpting pies) and press down slightly. However, the last step may not be performed if you do not want your cutlets to be flattened (and their frying time will slightly increase).

Step 6

Roll the cutlets in breadcrumbs and fry on both sides in vegetable oil. If desired, some of the cutlets can be sent to the freezer, but keep in mind that their storage period should not exceed 1 month (at a temperature of about -12 ° C).
