The aroma of stewed potatoes with pieces of meat can make your head spin. By itself, I begin to remember my childhood, when many grandmothers cooked similar dishes. Almost every home has a multicooker, with which you can cook delicious potatoes with meat and remember your childhood.
It is necessary
- -1 kg of potatoes,
- -600 grams of beef,
- -2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
- -1-2 carrots (see by size),
- -1 large onion,
- -0.5 glasses of tomato juice,
- -1 clove of garlic
- - dried basil to taste,
- - a mixture of ground peppers to taste,
- - ground black pepper to taste,
- -salt to taste,
- -800 ml hot water.
Instructions
Step 1
Place the Baking program on the multicooker (minimum time) and leave to warm up.
Step 2
Rinse the meat, cut off the fat, which is finely chopped. Fry the fat in a slow cooker until crackling. Fat can be replaced with two tablespoons of vegetable oil. Cut the meat into cubes.
Step 3
Chop the peeled onion.
Step 4
Transfer the pieces of meat to the multicooker with the cracklings. Fry on the "Bake" mode for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Finely grate the carrots. Add onions and carrots to the meat, stir, fry for another 10 minutes. Then pour in a glass of hot water (you may need a little less). The water should cover the pieces of meat. On a slow cooker, set the "Extinguishing" mode for an hour.
Step 6
After the multicooker beeps, pour the tomato juice into the meat. If there is not enough liquid, then add a little water. Set the "Extinguishing" mode for half an hour.
Step 7
Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes. After the end of the "Stew" program, put the potatoes in the multicooker. Add chopped garlic clove, basil, pepper and salt to taste. Fill with hot water so that it covers the potato cubes, stir. Set the "Extinguishing" program for 50 minutes. Serve with a light vegetable salad.
