Instructions
Step 1
Boil potatoes, beets and carrots in their skins and cool. To save time, you can boil them the night before. Peel the vegetables before starting the salad. Cook all eggs hard-boiled. Boil quail eggs after boiling water for about 4 minutes, and chicken eggs for about 10 minutes. When they are cool, remove the shells.
Step 2
Peel and chop the onions into thin quarter-rings. Let's prepare a marinade for him. In a separate bowl, combine the vinegar and sugar, put the onion there and leave for 5 minutes. After that, you need to pull it out and squeeze it well.
Step 3
Set aside one carrot to decorate the salad, and grate the rest together with beets, potatoes and chicken eggs (put all the grated ingredients separately from each other). Cut the pickled cucumbers into cubes.
Step 4
Cut the quail eggs in two. Chop the dill. Apples with peels should also be grated last.
Step 5
Take a cooking ring and place it on a platter or large flat plate. We will shape our salad, lightly tamping each layer. We begin to lay the layers in the following sequence: beets, potatoes, mayonnaise, pickled cucumbers, pickled onions, carrots, mayonnaise, apples, mayonnaise, chicken eggs.
Step 6
Sprinkle chopped dill around the edges of the salad. Form a dial with 12 pieces of quail eggs. From the carrot that we have set aside, make arrows and numbers. Add some brightness to the salad, garnish with cranberries, and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
