  • 1 egg
  • Toast bread
  • 1 glass of breading
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Mayonnaise
  • Wasabi
  • Tonkatsu sauce
  • Cabbage leaves

Instructions

Step 1

Pour bread crumbs and flour into separate bowls. Beat the pork steaks in thin slices, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Rub flour into each steak on both sides, so that the whole piece is covered with a light flour crust.

Step 3

Beat an egg in a separate plate and dip each steak into it. After that, fill each steak with bread crumbs so that the meat is completely covered.

Step 4

We heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and lower the meat there. Fry over medium heat for two to three minutes until a uniform golden crust. Remove the finished steaks - katsu, dip the fat with paper towels.

Step 5

Chop the cabbage into small strips. Fry the bread in a toaster or in a dry frying pan until a crust appears.

Step 6

On one toast, put chopped cabbage, evenly spreading it over the surface of the toast, put the finished katsu on top of the cabbage, pour tonkatsu sauce on top and cover with the second toast, smeared with mayonnaise and wasabi on the back.
