Small stuffed cabbage rolls made from grape leaves will add a little sourness to the variety of dishes on any table. Moldovan red wine is perfect for this dish.
It is necessary
- - 3 onion heads;
- - 1 bunch of green onions;
- - 1 bunch of parsley;
- - 10 g mint leaves;
- - 20 g of dill greens;
- - 400 g of long grain rice;
- - 20 pcs. grape leaves;
- - 150 ml of sunflower oil;
- - juice from 2 lemons;
- - 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and boil the onions in lightly salted water. Remove, let the water drain, cool and cut into small cubes.
Step 2
Chop green onions, parsley, mint and dill also finely. Place in a saucepan, add rice, sunflower oil and 200 g of water.
Step 3
Add salt to the chopped mass to taste and boil over low heat until the water is completely digested. Set aside and season with ground black pepper and lemon juice.
Step 4
Pour boiling water over the grape leaves. Stir the prepared minced meat thoroughly and place on the grape leaves, fold in a roll and place in a small saucepan. Fill with water so that it completely covers the cabbage rolls. Simmer over low heat until tender.
Step 5
Place the mini cabbage rolls on a dish, being careful not to lose their shape. On top of cabbage rolls, you can lay chopped eggs, lemon wedges, carrot slices or pieces of pickled cucumbers.
