Delicious lemon flavored muffins with chocolate drips cook in about one hour. It turns out a universal treat for tea. Both lemon zest and juice will go into the dough, which will add more flavor to the baked goods.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of sugar;
- - 100 g of dark chocolate;
- - 100 ml of milk;
- - 50 g butter;
- - 1 lemon;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 1/2 cups flour;
- - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Instructions
Step 1
Mash the sugar and softened butter (remove it from the refrigerator half an hour before making the muffins). Introduce the chicken egg, stirring continuously. Add half the flour and baking powder, stir.
Step 2
Rub the zest of the lemon and squeeze the juice out of half of the lemon. Add zest and juice to the dough, stir well. Pour in milk, add the remaining flour. Knead the dough.
Step 3
Take a piece of dark chocolate, crush it, add to the finished dough, stir.

Prepare muffin cups. If you have them made of metal, then you can grease them with oil or cover them with special paper inserts. Silicone molds do not need to be oiled - muffins are easy to get out of them.
Step 5
Pour the dough into molds, put them in the oven. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake lemon muffins with chocolate drops for 40-50 minutes, check readiness with a toothpick - they may not cook earlier, it all depends on the size of your molds and the characteristics of your stove.
Step 6
Serve ready-made muffins hot or chilled. They are stored for no more than 2 days, then they become not so soft and aromatic.
