Beautiful sandy hearts will decorate any festive table. The perfect treat for a romantic tea party.
It is necessary
- Softened butter, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, brown sugar - 1/4 cup each
- Wheat flour - 2 cups
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Baking powder and vanilla sugar - 1 teaspoon each
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cherry jam, any jam or jam for the filling
Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl, beat the butter and oil using an electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat until the mixture is smooth, occasionally scrubbing the sides of the bowl. Then add eggs and vanilla and beat a little more. Pour half the flour into the mixture and continue beating for a few more minutes. After adding the remaining flour, knead the dough by hand.
Step 2
Roll into balls from the finished dough and, pressing with your fingers, make a depression in the center of each ball. Form hearts from the blanks. Now you need to lay out the cookies on a sheet lined with parchment paper, at a distance of 1-2 cm between each other. The sheet does not need to be lubricated.
Step 3
Bake for 7 to 9 minutes in an oven preheated to 190-200 degrees, until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned. Remove the sheet from the oven and place the cookies on a flat surface. When the pieces have cooled slightly, fill each cavity with jam or preserves. Serve chilled cookies to the table.
