Egg flan is a great option for an unusual breakfast or dessert.
It is necessary
- - egg 3 pcs.;
- - milk 1, 5 tbsp.;
- - sugar 3 tablespoons;
- - condensed milk 1 can;
- - powdered sugar 200 g;
- - sour cream 200 g;
- - red currants or cranberries 100 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Break eggs into a wide bowl, beat. Without stopping whipping, pour in milk in portions. Gently add the condensed milk. In a saucepan, dissolve sugar with 1 tablespoon of water, cook over low heat until the sugar turns light brown.
Step 2
Using a tablespoon or pastry brush, distribute the resulting caramel evenly over the form in which the flan will be prepared. A little caramel should also hit the walls of the mold. For this dish, it is better to choose a form with high sides.
Step 3
Pour the milk mixture carefully. Cover the form with a sheet of foil, tucking the edges. Boil water in a wide saucepan. Put the flannered form in a water bath and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely.
Step 4
Fill the currants with half powdered sugar and pour 1 tablespoon of water, put on low heat and cook for 15 minutes, cool and puree in a blender. Beat the sour cream with the remaining powdered sugar with a mixer for at least 3 minutes. Whisk, add the berry puree. Remove the foil from the dessert, cover the dish with a dish and turn over. Serve with sour cream and berry sauce. Garnish with fresh berries if desired.
