In order to prepare coffee in a saucepan, you need to know the basic principles of preparing this drink. So, first of all, you need to decide on the dose of the coffee itself. If you are preparing this drink for the first time, then choose the following proportions: five tablespoons of coffee per liter of water (it is worth noting that it is better to choose coarse coffee for the pan, since in this case you will not have to wait too long for the grounds to settle) … Once you decide on the amount of coffee, you can proceed directly to the preparation of the drink.

Take a small saucepan (preferably not very wide), pour a liter of clean cold water into it and put it on fire. As soon as the water warms up to 50-60 degrees, pour the pre-made coffee into it and reduce the heat. Wait for the foam to appear in the pan and begin to rise. At this very moment, remove the container with coffee from the heat (if this is not done, the taste of the coffee will suffer significantly), cover with a lid and let it brew for a couple of minutes (during this time, the drink will become aromatic, and the coffee grounds will settle).

After the specified time, the coffee is ready to drink, it must be poured into cups and added sugar, cream or milk to taste. It is important to consider that it is advisable to prepare coffee in small portions, which will be drunk in the near future. The fact is that the taste and aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a drink that has stood for a while are quite different, and not in favor of the latter.
