  • For the cake:
  • - 175 g butter;
  • - 250 g icing sugar;
  • - 4 eggs;
  • - 200 g flour;
  • - a teaspoon of baking powder;
  • - ground almonds - 50 g;
  • - sour cream - 75 g;
  • - 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract;
  • - 250 g strawberries;
  • - a handful of almond flakes for garnish.
  • For the cream:
  • - 200 g cream cheese;
  • - 25 g of icing sugar;
  • - 1 large egg.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180C, grease a detachable form with a diameter of 23 centimeters with a small amount of butter, cover the bottom and sides with baking paper.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the cream until smooth, trying not to overdo it, otherwise the cream will become watery. We put it aside. Remove the stalks from the strawberries, cut the berries into slices.

Step 3

In another bowl, combine butter, icing sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, ground almonds, a pinch of salt, sour cream and vanilla extract. Knead a homogeneous dough.

Step 4

Put half of the dough into a mold, add half of the strawberries. We make small indentations in the dough (1-1.5 centimeters deep and 5-7 centimeters long) and put half of the cream cheese into them.

Step 5

Gently lay out the remaining dough, evenly distribute the strawberries over its surface, again make the grooves for the cream and lay it out. Sprinkle the cake with almond flakes.

Step 6

We bake the pie for 50-60 minutes, be sure to check the readiness with a wooden skewer or toothpick. Leave the cake in the pan for 20 minutes, then transfer it to a dish. Serve the finished dessert warm or chilled.
