Stuffed pumpkin always looks unusual, bright and festive, and the dish as a whole turns out to be healthy due to the many vitamins and trace elements contained in this sunny vegetable.
It is necessary
- - pumpkin weighing 1, 3-1, 5 kg;
- - 100 g each of walnuts and dried pitted dogwood;
- - large onion;
- - butter - 75 g;
- - ghee - 1, 5 tablespoons;
- - ground cinnamon - half a teaspoon;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut off the top of the pumpkin and set it aside. Remove the seeds carefully. If there is a lot of pulp, leave the walls 2-2.5 centimeters thick, remove everything else so that there is space for the minced meat.
Step 2
Soak the dogwood in boiling water for 10 minutes, put it in a colander. We sort out the walnuts, removing the partitions if necessary, chop them with a knife.
Step 3
Chop the onion. Fry over medium heat in heated ghee until a beautiful golden color.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix fried onions, nuts and dogwood, salt and season with cinnamon, mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 200C. We shift the minced meat into the pumpkin, close it with the previously cut "lid" and bake on a greased baking sheet for 75-85 minutes, depending on the weight. Before serving, pour the pumpkin with melted butter.
