Whole baked chicken is an excellent dish for a festive table. To make the bird even more delicious, stuff it with rice, mushrooms, fruit, or other filling. Don't forget to make a delicious sauce that can be poured over the chicken before serving.
Chicken with brisket
Try to cook an original dish - chicken stuffed with brisket. Serve rice and a salad of fresh or pickled vegetables as a side dish.
You will need:
- 1 medium sized chicken;
- 200 g smoked brisket;
- 3-4 cloves of garlic;
- black peppercorns;
- olive oil;
- salt;
- freshly ground black pepper.
For baking, choose a moderately fatty chicken - too lean meat will turn out tough.
Rinse gutted chicken thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the brisket into strips, peel and chop the garlic. Mix the brisket with garlic, add a few black peppercorns. Stuff the poultry with the mixture, rub it with salt and ground pepper.
Place the chicken on a greased baking sheet with olive oil and place in an oven preheated to 200C. Bake the chicken until tender, pouring water over it first, and then the released meat juice.
Whole roasted chicken
This traditional English dish is often prepared for Sunday lunch. It is served with a side dish of fried sausages, baked potatoes and green salad. Separately, prepare a gravy of chicken giblets, which is poured over each portion immediately before meals.

- a well-fed chicken weighing about 2.5 kg;
- 125 g fresh bread crumbs;

Chicken with minced curry

You will need:
- 1 young chicken;
- 1 glass of long grain rice;
- 1 large orange;
- 100 g of champignons;
- 1 teaspoon of curry;
- 0.25 teaspoons of ground paprika;
- 2 sweet peppers;
- salt;
- 1 onion;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Prepare the minced meat. Boil pre-washed rice in salted water. Chop the onion into thin half rings and fry in vegetable oil. Add thinly sliced mushrooms, then place half rings of bell peppers in the mixture. Fry everything until soft.
Juice the orange, mix it with curry and ground paprika. Pour the mixture into the rice, add the mushroom and vegetable fry. Mix everything well.
Use a sweet and sour orange for a brighter mince flavor.
