It is necessary

  • - apricots - 0.5 kilograms;
  • - granulated sugar - 150 grams;
  • - vanilla - 1 pod or vanilla sugar - on the tip of a knife;
  • - cow's milk - 0.5 liters;
  • - starch - 1 tbsp. l.;
  • - egg yolk - 2 pieces;
  • - fried almond flakes - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • - ground cinnamon - 1 tsp;
  • - lemon balm leaves for decoration.

Instructions

Step 1

On tender apricots, make cuts on the skin and lower for 1-2 minutes in warm boiled water, then in cold water.

Step 2

Peel, cut ripe apricots in half and remove pits.

Step 3

Cook syrup from 3 tbsp. l. sugar and 6 tbsp. l. water over high heat.

Step 4

Dip the fruit into the prepared syrup, remove and cool.

Step 5

Prepare a cream from the vanilla pod, which must be cut and scraped out with a knife. Add it to a glass of cow's milk and boil.

Step 6

Beat the second glass of milk with sugar, egg yolks and starch.

Step 7

Remove the vanilla pod from the boiled hot milk, gradually pour the whipped egg yolk mass into it, then cook the resulting mixture over low heat. Stir constantly until the cream thickens. Remove from heat and refrigerate.

Step 8

Pour vanilla cream over fruit before serving, then sprinkle with cinnamon and toasted almond flakes. If you wish, you can decorate with lemon balm.
