Rice porridge with apples, raisins and dried apricots is not only healthy, but also tasty. It will be a great start to the work day, will charge you with energy, nutrients and trace elements.

Step 1
Rinse the rice with plenty of water several times. Pour the washed rice with hot water, salt and cook over medium heat.

After the water in the saucepan or saucepan has boiled, reduce heat to low and continue cooking the rice, covered, until almost all of the water has boiled away.

Then add milk to rice and simmer for another 5 minutes. It is best to boil the milk separately and pour it in while it is hot.

Cut apples into small cubes or slices. It is advisable not to remove the peel. The apples can be caramelized if desired. To do this, melt a small piece of butter in a frying pan. Place the chopped apples there and add a couple of tablespoons of sugar. Add cinnamon on the tip of a knife if desired. Stir and caramelize until the apples are golden.

Rinse raisins and dried apricots thoroughly and cover with hot water. Cut the steamed dried apricots into pieces.

Add raisins, dried apricots and fresh apples to the porridge. Stir and continue simmering for another 5-6 minutes.
Step 7
Remove from heat and let the porridge brew under a closed lid for another 10-15 minutes. Add a lump of butter and stir.

If you have caramelized apples, place the porridge on a plate and garnish with apple wedges. Drizzle with the resulting caramel sauce. The dish is ready to eat.
