Cabbage soup is the oldest national dish in the central and northern regions of Russia. There are a lot of recipes for cooking cabbage soup, but the main component in their composition is invariably cabbage.

- White cabbage - 1/2 head of cabbage;
- Turnip - 1 piece;
- Carrots - 2 pieces;
- Parsley root - 20 grams;
- Onions - 2 pieces;
- Tomatoes - 2-3 pieces;
- Flour - 2 teaspoons;
- Margarine - 50 grams;
- Meat broth - 2 liters;
- Sour cream - 50 grams;
- Parsley
- dill
- Bay leaf
- pepper
- salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the cabbage, wash with cold water and chop into strips.
Step 2
Chop or coarsely grate carrots and turnips.
Step 3
Cut the onion into cubes.
Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into wedges.
Step 5
Heat margarine in a frying pan and fry onions, carrots, turnips, parsley and tomatoes in it.
Step 6
Put the cabbage in the boiling broth, bring to a boil, add the fried vegetables.
Step 7
Simmer for 15-25 minutes.
Step 8
5 minutes before cooking, add flour, salt, spices and herbs to the cabbage soup, diluted in a small amount of water.
