How to bake fish cake using sunflower oil
To make a fish grits pie, you need the following ingredients:
- 1, 2 kilograms of flour;
- 1 glass of cheap vegetable oil;
- 30-40 grams of yeast;
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
For filling:
- 800 grams of fish fillets;
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- 1-2 glasses of cereals (millet or rice);
- 1 onion;

The dough should be kneaded in an enamel bowl.
First of all, dissolve the yeast in half a glass of water and place in a warm place. Once the yeast has foamed, knead the dough with flour, 2 cups warm water, vegetable oil, salt and prepared yeast. Then cover the dish with a towel and place in a warm place. When it comes up, knead the dough and let it come up again. Then wrinkle and shape the cake again.
Divide the dough in half and roll out a 1 centimeter thick layer on a floured surface. Put on it a layer of boiled cereals (rice or millet) mixed with onions fried in sunflower oil. Put the slices of the prepared fillet on top (the fish should first be salted, rolled in flour and fried on both sides). Cover the fillet with another layer of cereal.
Then cover the filling with another layer of dough, rolled out 0.5-0.7 centimeters thick. Pinch the edges.
The pie can be shaped like a fish, which will especially delight little gourmets. Then you should apply a pattern in the form of scales with a knife, shape from the dough and stick the "fins" and "tail".
Use a knife to pierce the pie in several places to release steam during baking. Transfer the fish pie to a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 220 ° C. The pie is prepared for about half an hour.
Sunflower oil family gingerbread recipe
For dessert, you can bake a delicious family gingerbread, one of the important ingredients of which is also sunflower oil. For her you will need:
- 1 glass of vegetable oil;
- 500 grams of granulated sugar;
- 1 tablespoon of honey;
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda;
- 1 teaspoon of instant coffee;
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon;
- Wheat flour;
- Cherry jam.
Pour 2 cups of water into an enamel pot, add vegetable oil, granulated sugar and honey. Then put on low heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Then remove from heat, add baking soda, instant coffee, ground cinnamon and add enough flour so that when kneading the dough you get the consistency of sour cream.
Pour the prepared dough onto a baking sheet greased with sunflower oil and place in an oven preheated to 200-220 ° C for 20-25 minutes. Bake the family gingerbread until cooked.
Instead of cherry, you can use any other jam to taste (apricot, strawberry, plum, pear or apple).
