Almost every woman, opening a cookbook or collection of recipes, was faced with the fact that often the amount of required products is determined by grams. This is especially true for sugar. And if we start to measure the amount of the required component "by eye", approximately, then the dish may not work. Too much sugar will make your culinary sweet and sugary, and not enough sugar will make your culinary taste bland and tasteless. There are several ways to measure the right amount of sugar in the kitchen.
It is necessary
Scales, measuring or regular glasses, teaspoons and tablespoons
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest and most convenient way is to use a cooking scale to get the right amount of sugar. Of course, such scales can also give an error, especially if you weigh such a small amount of sugar as one hundred grams, but the probability of this is small.
Step 2
If there is no scale, then use a special measuring cup. You can buy it at any hardware store. As a rule, cutoffs are applied to the outside of such a glass, which determine the amount of sugar you need. As you fill the glass, you can always see if you have taken less or more than the required amount.
Step 3
If you do not have a scale or a glass, use such improvised tools as a tablespoon and a teaspoon or a regular glass for water. If we talk about the amount of sugar that fits in a spoon, then you must always keep in mind that the spoon should be full, with a small slide. So, in order to measure one hundred grams with a tablespoon, you need to scoop up sugar four times, because about twenty-five grams is placed in an ordinary large tablespoon. But if the tablespoon is smaller than the standard size, then you will have to lower it into the sugar bowl seven times, because only fifteen grams of sugar will fit in such a spoon. A teaspoon contains about seven grams of bulk products, so to get one hundred grams of sugar, you need to take fourteen and a half spoons. If you fill a regular glass with sugar to the very edge, you get about two hundred and fifty grams. A glass that is less than half full will contain just this amount of sugar.
