Another convenient way is to use a measuring cup. In hardware stores, wonderful measuring containers are sold, which are marked on the outside, allowing you to determine the desired weight of bulk products. With the help of such a glass, you can measure not only sugar - there are separate marks for salt, water and flour on standard measuring containers.

How to measure the right amount of sugar with a spoon

When you have neither a scale nor a measuring cup at hand, you can measure the sugar portion using a regular spoon. There are many different checklists that indicate how much of a certain product fits in conventional cutlery. It should be borne in mind that these cutlery should be standard - souvenir products, for example, may have a different capacity. If it is indicated that so many grams of sugar fits in one spoon, it means a full spoon with a small slide.

A typical large tablespoon is 25 grams of sugar. The next in line is a dessert spoon - it contains about 15 grams of sugar. A teaspoon holds 7 grams. Using simple math, it's easy to figure out how many times a spoon needs to be scooped up to get the prescribed amount of sugar.

You can also measure the sugar with a simple glass. A glass filled to the very edge holds 250 grams of sugar. Knowing this, you can try to get 200 grams, 150 and 100 - if there is a mistake, it is unlikely that it will be so significant as to affect the taste of the dish.
