Instructions

Step 1

First, decide which grape variety you will use:

- wine, which contains little sugar, and is mainly used by winemakers;

- dining room, it is used both for preparing a drink and for eating;

- dessert, with a high sugar content. You can mix several varieties.

Step 2

Prepare the container and room. The place must be dry and clean, oak barrels and glass bottles are considered ideal storage utensils. For primary storage, aluminum buckets are suitable.

Step 3

Shuffle the grapes. You can do it yourself or use a special press.

Step 4

Place the crushed grapes in a large container, or add some sugar if desired. Never cover completely, just cover. Avoid bright light during fermentation. Complete darkness is desirable. The room temperature should be between 23-25 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, you risk spoiling the product.

Step 5

Wait about a week. During this time, the fermentation process should end. A specific smell will appear.

Step 6

Prepare containers for later storage of the drink. Also prepare overflow hoses and rubber gloves. Pour the liquid into prepared containers. It is advisable to pre-filter the drink, at least partially. But it's okay if a little mud gets into the bottle.

Step 7

Limit the access of oxygen to the bottle, and, at the same time, allow the liquid to release excess gases. This can be done with a rubber glove. Put it on the bottle and pierce it with a needle in two or three places. As soon as the glove is completely "deflated", know that all gases have gone out.

Step 8

Pour the young wine into other containers. Try to avoid getting muddy. Wait for the sediment. The drink will slowly lighten. As soon as the wine is completely clarified, the color becomes transparent, without impurities, pour it into a bottle or barrel for the last time.

Step 9

With the help of such simple manipulations, you can get a dry wine that tastes good. If you are a fan of sparkling wine, close the bottle tightly during fermentation.
