Ingredients:

  • 200 g of rice;
  • 400 g chicken fillet;
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce;
  • 250 g of champignons (or other mushrooms);
  • 1 medium sweet bell pepper;
  • 2 onions;
  • salad onions;
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger root;
  • vegetable oil;
  • 4 tablespoons sherry;
  • black pepper.

Preparation:

  1. First, let's prepare rice. Not every housewife succeeds in this procedure, but using advice, you will be able to cook delicious, crumbly rice. It needs to be rinsed in cool water several times. Next, pour the washed rice into a saucepan and add a little cold water. It is important to know that rice is cooked in a small amount of water so that it does not lose its beneficial properties.
  2. You also need to prepare the meat. If you have chicken fillet, then it must be cut into slices and, marinated in soy sauce, leave in the refrigerator for an hour.
  3. Now let's cook vegetables and mushrooms. We clean and chop the champignons lengthwise, cut the pepper into four parts and cut across in large pieces. We also peel and cut the onion into rings or half rings.
  4. You can go directly to the preparation of the dish. Fry meat from the refrigerator in vegetable oil for 5 minutes, then set it aside to cool. Leave the meat marinade.
  5. Change the oil in the skillet and heat it up. Fry vegetables with mushrooms on it for 3 minutes. During the frying process, vegetables must be constantly stirred to avoid burning. You can now add grated ginger, sherry and marinade sauce to vegetables.
  6. Finally, mix the meat with the resulting vegetable mixture and rice, mix everything thoroughly and fry over low heat.

This Chinese dish is perfect for a Chinese themed dinner.

In other variations, boiled eggs can also be added to this dish. The meat can be replaced with red fish fillets.
