Fans of oriental cuisine will appreciate the delicate taste of this exotic sweetness. Peanut sherbet is the perfect treat for a cozy family tea!
Ingredients (per 10 servings):
- Butter - 70 g;
- Milk - 250 ml;
- Granulated sugar - 600 g;
- Peeled peanuts - about 1 cup.
Preparation:
- It is preferable to cook dessert sweets in a cast-iron container - otherwise the sugar mass will stick to the bottom and walls of the dishes. Pour milk and immediately add a pound of sugar. Stir well and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. We interfere well from time to time.
- In parallel, fry the nuts. We put them in a dry frying pan and put on the fire - when the peanuts are ready, they will begin to crackle actively (do not let them burn!). Immediately set aside the dishes from the stove.
- When the nuts are cool, remove all the husks. We transfer it to a plastic plate with a flat bottom and smooth it well.
- After half an hour, the milk syrup becomes thicker. It's time to remove him from the fire!
- Melt the remaining sugar (half a glass) in a pan until brown. Then slowly and very carefully pour the caramel into the milk syrup - stir continuously throughout the process.
- Mix everything again. Place the sliced butter and then return the sweet mass to low heat. We boil for another 25 minutes, until thick.
- Pour our peanuts directly into a bowl. Now the sorbet needs to harden at room temperature. This will take approximately 1 hour.
Cut the finished delicacy into portions and serve, accompanied by fragrant tea.
