The opinion that champignons must be boiled is not the only correct one. Indeed, for some dishes you can use raw mushrooms, however, it is simply impossible to imagine a delicious mushroom soup or a variety of salads without boiled mushrooms, which are very easy to prepare.
It is necessary
-
- pan
- Champignon
- water
- salt
- spice.
Instructions
Step 1
Before boiling the mushrooms, they must be peeled. From the bottom of the stalk, cut off the part that was in contact with the ground and wilted after cutting the mushrooms in the greenhouse. Rinse each mushroom thoroughly from the remnants of the earth under running water. You can use a small soft brush for this. Do not soak mushrooms in water before cooking, otherwise they will lose their taste.
Step 2
If the mushrooms are small, then you can boil them whole. In this form, they will look spectacular in any dish. In the event that the mushrooms are large enough, cut them into several pieces. The method of shredding does not affect the quality of preparation, but most often the mushrooms are cut into four parts or cut into thin slices of the same thickness.
Step 3
After the mushrooms are ready to cook, put water in a saucepan and put it on fire. When the water boils, add salt to taste, a few peas of black allspice, bay leaf and immerse the mushrooms in it. The amount of water depends on how many mushrooms will be boiled. The liquid should completely cover them.
Step 4
Cook the mushrooms over low heat until tender. There are simply no universal recommendations on how much to cook champignons. Each recipe has its own cooking time. If the mushrooms are further fried or mixed with other ingredients in the salad, then it is not worth boiling them for longer than 5 minutes, otherwise they will give all their taste to the broth. Whereas for making soup, the cooking time can be increased to 15-20 minutes, so it will turn out to be more saturated.
