  • - 100 grams of boiled beets;
  • - vegetable oil;
  • - 100 grams of onions;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - 3 tbsp. bread crumbs;
  • - pepper and salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Take the onion, peel it and cut it as small as possible, fry the onion in vegetable oil heated in a pan until golden brown. This may take 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 2

Take the beets, wash, place in a pot of water and cook for about 50-60 minutes.

Step 3

Chill the beets, peel them off, it's very easy to do. Grate the vegetable on a fine grater.

Step 4

Take minced meat, add grated beets, bread crumbs, 2/3 fried onions, and a raw egg to it. Season with pepper and salt to taste.

Step 5

Thoroughly mix the minced meat with your hands, form small cutlets, they should turn out to be about 8 pieces.

Step 6

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put the cutlets, fry first on one side, then turn over and fry on the other, then close the lid and fry for about 10 minutes until fully cooked over low heat.

Step 7

Sprinkle the fried onions on top of the cutlets as a decoration before serving.
