We constantly hear that sugar is harmful and we must stop consuming it. But is everything as bad as the gloss assures us?
Do you remember that in case of dizziness, one of the ways to normalize a person's condition is to give him a lump of sugar to eat? Thus, we use the main function of sugar, which is difficult to replace with another substance: sugar is a source of energy for us, our brain. A constant lack of sugar in food can lead to frequent dizziness, headaches, and decreased performance. The mood will be worse, there will always be a lack of energy for the most necessary and simple things.
Of course, you do not need to absorb kilograms of sugar, washing down endless cakes with sweet tea, but you should not exclude sugar at all. Excess sugar is harmful, the same hidden sugar that is found in too much fast food and soda (a typical example of dishes with excessive, harmful amount of sugar). It is this kind of food that is not recommended, but not in general dishes containing sugar.
If you are afraid to add regular sugar to tea or coffee, replace it with honey, dried fruits, eat more sweet fruits. Moreover, the same coffee with a spoonful of honey will give more energy than coffee with a spoonful of sugar, since honey contains vitamins and minerals (unless of course honey is fake).
But where do the myths about the dangers of sugar come from? Most often, they are created by companies that produce sugar substitutes, ready-made meals with excess sugar and cosmetics. To increase the sales of their products, they come up with reasons and arguments for excluding natural products, to our great regret.
