Although the system of separate nutrition, which is popular among those who lose weight, received a refutation from physiologists and nutritionists, there is a certain rational grain in it. What foods really shouldn't be combined?
Fatty and sweet
Not the most useful, but very tasty combination, a vivid example is a biscuit cake with fat butter cream. However, such food can cause not only harm to the figure, but also cause a disorder of digestion, since fats and simple carbohydrates actively stimulate the activity of the intestines.

This combination of foods can put a serious strain on the blood vessels, therefore, such food should not be abused by people suffering from hypertension. It is undesirable to salt fatty foods abundantly so as not to increase the risk of developing atherosclerosis.
Milk and herbal products
Everyone knows that milk should not be combined with cucumbers almost from childhood, but there is a whole range of products that cannot be combined with milk - these are apples, melon, citrus fruits, tomatoes, cabbage. The fact is that with age, the body may lose the ability to absorb milk sugar, and plant foods only increase the discomfort in the abdomen and sometimes even cause diarrhea. It is better to use milk with cereals, potatoes, bread.
Milk and animal products
And again the milk got "under the distribution". What's wrong with its combination with meat or fish? The fact is that lactose tends to increase cholesterol, which is just the same found in animal products. However, if you are not a fan of typical Finnish dishes, then you don't have to worry too much - in Russian and traditional European cuisine such a combination is practically not found.
Melon and any product
Melon is a vegetable of the pumpkin family and should not be consumed either in combination with other products or as a dessert. The fact is that this fruit is not digested in the stomach, but in the intestines. If during this time in the stomach there is still any food that prevents the melon from entering the intestines, the result will be colic, bloating and diarrhea. Therefore, the melon should be eaten only separately from any other food and not earlier than 2 hours after the meal.
Lamb dishes and cold drinks
Fatty lamb dishes are already hard to digest, and in combination with a cold drink, this process will go even more difficult. Therefore, you should not wash down kebabs with ice beer - it is not for nothing that hot tea is served with pilaf in Central Asia.
