Grilled chicken is a favorite delicacy of many, affordable and sold on every corner in every city in the country. But lately, housewives prefer to cook this dish on their own - there are many ways of cooking, and they are all simple and affordable.

- chicken (1 kg);

- mayonnaise;
- herbs for chicken.
Instructions
Step 1
To cook grilled chicken in the oven, first wash the carcass in cold water, get rid of the remaining hairs (pull or scorch over the fire), pat dry with paper towels.
Step 2
Rub the inside and outside of the chicken with salt (preferably coarse sea salt) and black pepper. Separately mix the garlic skipped through the garlic press, 2 teaspoons of mustard and the same amount of liquid honey. Spread this mixture over the chicken (and inside too) and leave to marinate for at least an hour in the refrigerator. Remove the pickled chicken from the refrigerator and put the lemon inside (you can use a medium-sized whole, or cut the lemon in half).
Step 3
Take the grill spit (supplied with the oven in the kit), the chicken must be strung on it and strengthened (because when you turn the spit, it can loosen and not cook evenly). To prevent the wings and legs from burning during cooking, tie them with a regular thread (tie tightly to the carcass itself).
Step 4
Put a baking sheet on the lower level of the oven, pouring water into it - it is needed so that the fat flowing from the chicken does not burn. Place the chicken skewer in the center. Close the oven and turn on the grill mode (the temperature is not lower than 200 degrees, or the II grill mode). After 40-50 minutes, the chicken will be almost ready, at this time turn on the airflow - this way you will help the chicken acquire a golden brown crust. Check the grilled chicken after 15-20 minutes. To do this, pierce it with a toothpick or the tip of a knife, if clear juice flows out, then it is ready; if blood is still visible, leave the chicken for 20 minutes, increasing the temperature.
Step 5
To cook grilled chicken in the microwave, wash and dry the chicken and rub it with salt and pepper. Mix mayonnaise and herbs for chicken (if you haven't found a seasoning with that name, then make it yourself: mix the marjoram, garlic, onion seasonings in equal proportions, add a little nutmeg and black pepper). Brush chicken with marinade and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
Step 6
After taking the chicken out of the refrigerator, place it on a special grill dish (if it is not there, you can use ordinary microwave dishes without high sides). Set the chicken weight on the control panel and the program will automatically set the cooking time. If there is no such function, then keep in mind that a 1 kilogram chicken is cooked in the microwave for about half an hour.
