Chicken saute

Heat the soy sauce, add the brown sugar, stir vigorously and let it simmer for a bit to form a somewhat stringy syrup. Place the diced chicken breast fillet in it. Saute for 1-2 minutes, place chopped bamboo shoots, pineapple and leeks in a wok. Continue stirring for about 4 minutes more. Serve the chicken sauté with boiled rice. In Thailand and Indonesia, banana leaves are used for this dish instead of plates.

Step 2

Pork in sweet and sour sauce

Place small pieces of pork in a hot wok (it is better to use a neck that is not too oily). Add the stalked celery cut into 2–3 cm "sticks", the diced carrots and small onions almost immediately. Pour over the sauce, for which combine lemon juice, soy sauce and plum jam. As it boils - thicken with starch diluted in cold water. This dish should not be too runny; let the resulting sauce only envelop the pork and vegetables.

King prawns with rice noodles

Heat the butter, add the vegetable oil, fry the peeled king prawns in the mixture, pour in the oyster and fish sauces. After a minute, add the green beans. Fry, stirring vigorously, until half cooked. Pour in the coconut milk as it boils - add the rice noodles. Keep on fire for another 2 minutes. and serve.

Step 4

Shiitake with seafood and wild rice

Soak dry shiitake mushrooms for 1-2 hours. Dry, chop and sauté in a wok in vegetable oil. Add tomatoes, seafood, chopped lemongrass, galangal, cilantro. Add pre-cooked wild rice. Allow excess liquid to absorb, and immediately remove from heat.

Step 5

Vegetable curry

Heat vegetable oil in a wok. Fry fresh ginger, garlic, kalindzha and cumin seeds on it. Add curry powder. When the aroma of the spices intensifies, add the diced carrots, Thai eggplants, onions and green onions. Salt. Pour in the coconut milk. Continue stirring until the excess liquid has evaporated. The vegetable curry is ready!
