It is necessary

    • For marzipan:
    • - 1 glass of almonds;
    • - 1 cup of sugar;
    • - 0.25 glasses of water;
    • - 3 drops of almond essence;
    • - 1 tbsp. cocoa powder;
    • - icing sugar;
    • - food colorings.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a cake decoration depending on the type of cake. Cover light and tender biscuit cakes with lush butter cream, boiled condensed milk, chocolate icing, whipped cream, berry or fruit creams. Decorate the airy yoghurt and curd cakes with berries, fruits and nuts on top, pour over the jelly. A rich butter cream will add calories to a light cake.

Step 2

Cover the shortbread cake with boiled condensed milk, protein cream or thick jam, confiture. Do not pour chocolate icing on such a cake, otherwise it will dry out. Sprinkle the puff pastry with crushed nuts. Decorate ice cream cakes with jam, chocolate, fruit, crushed cookies.

Step 3

Use bright fruits and berries to decorate cakes - bananas, kiwi, strawberries, grapes. Canned peaches, apricots, pineapples are also suitable for this purpose. Bake apples and pears in the oven or microwave. Garnish the fruit with chocolate icing or whipped cream on top. Pour fruit and berry jelly into tins. After it hardens, decorate the surface of the cake with jelly figurines.

Step 4

Pour chocolate over the birthday cake. Cut the chocolate with a knife and heat in a water bath until completely dissolved. Use a pastry syringe to apply the melted chocolate to the surface of the cake. Use dark and white chocolate for decoration. Draw stripes, circles, cells on the cake.

Step 5

Prepare marzipan. Dip the unpeeled almonds in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain in a colander. Wait until the nuts have cooled, peel them off. Rinse the almonds and fry them in a dry hot skillet for 10-15 minutes. Then grind the almonds in a blender. Fill the sugar with water and heat until the syrup thickens. Place the almonds in the syrup and heat for another 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour in almond essence.

Step 6

Transfer the mass to a plate, cover with cling film and cool, and then pass through a meat grinder. Sprinkle the icing sugar on the cutting board, put the mixture on it and roll out with a rolling pin. Add food coloring as desired. From the resulting marzipan mass, form various figures and decorate the cake with them.
