The liver is a very healthy and tasty product. It is rich in proteins and vitamins (especially of the B group). In addition, the liver is available, it can always be bought for reasonable money. But how to cook so that the healthy is still tasty? For example, how to cook Stroganoff liver? So much so that it tastes as good as in a restaurant!

- - veal liver 300g;
- - 1pc onion (large);
- - vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.;
- - sour cream 20% fat 150 g;
- - salt
- pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your liver. It should be fresh, preferably veal. You can, of course, cook this dish from beef liver, but before cooking it must be soaked in milk for 1, 5-2 hours. Before slicing, clean the liver from films, bile ducts, rinse thoroughly and dry with napkins.
Step 2
Cut the liver into 0.5-0.8 cm thick cubes, 3-4 cm long. It is best to cut the liver that is not completely defrosted. Lightly "sprinkle" it with flour.
Step 3
Chop the onion. It is best to do it this way: cut the onion in half along its "clothes", halves again in half (also lengthwise), then cut thinly across. You will get a thin "straw".
Step 4
Preheat the skillet vigorously, pour vegetable oil into it. Put the chopped liver on a hot surface, fry on all sides over high heat. As soon as it turns brown, a crust forms on the liver slices. Add onion and reduce heat to medium. Cook everything together until the onions are translucent.
Step 5
Pour a glass of low-fat sour cream into the liver fried with onions, salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low, cover skillet with lid.
Simmer the liver for no more than 10 minutes, otherwise it will become tough. If you are using beef liver, the stew can be increased to 15 minutes.
Step 6
The Stroganoff liver is ready. Serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. You can decorate the finished dish with fresh herbs.
