Buckwheat and kefir are two of the most popular foods among people who are watching their weight. There are many publications devoted to fasting days on these products. However, few people tried to combine them.
Buckwheat and kefir, even separately, are indispensable products for the body, and their combination is doubly beneficial.
For a fasting day, buckwheat is prepared as follows: rinse the groats, pour boiling water, stand for a couple of minutes, drain and refill with boiling water, close the lid (you can wrap it in a towel) and leave to infuse overnight. There is a simpler option: bring the washed cereal to a boil, turn off the gas, cover and leave overnight to swell. The ratio of cereals and water is 1: 2, as in the preparation of ordinary buckwheat porridge. Salt, oil and seasonings are strictly prohibited.
For one fasting day, you will need 1-1, 5 glasses of ready-made porridge and 1 liter of fat-free kefir. You can combine buckwheat with kefir in different ways:
- pour buckwheat with kefir at every meal;
- consume kefir half an hour before or after meals.
You can spend fasting days on raw buckwheat. To do this, the buckwheat must be washed, slightly dried and poured with kefir in a 1: 2 ratio, stir, cover and leave overnight at room temperature. This option of unloading will bring more benefits, since vitamins and dietary fiber are not destroyed, as is the case with heat treatment. If you cannot withstand such unloading, then buckwheat with kefir can be replaced with a daily breakfast, this will help get rid of 3-4 extra pounds and cleanse the intestines.
Fasting days on buckwheat with kefir are contraindicated for people suffering from diseases of the digestive tract.
