Honey mushrooms are incredibly tasty mushrooms. You can cook a lot of all kinds of dishes from them, including soups, main courses, pies and more. However, in order for culinary delights to turn out tasty and healthy, it is better to boil the mushrooms before cooking a certain dish.
Not every housewife cooks honey mushrooms before frying or making soup, but in vain, because this procedure perfectly removes harmful substances from the mushrooms, removes bitterness. Therefore, if your health is dear to you and you do not want to spoil the dish with the presence of bitterness, do not neglect boiling honey agaric.
As for the cooking time, the procedure can last from 20 to 40 minutes, it all depends on the size of the mushrooms. Many housewives boil large and medium / small mushrooms separately from each other, since if they are cooked together, then small mushrooms are digested, become soft, while large ones are not cooked. Do not forget about the correctness of cooking: before the procedure, the mushrooms need to be cleaned and washed thoroughly, then put in a saucepan (preference should be given to enameled ones), pour cold water and bring to a boil over high heat. After boiling mushrooms for 3-5 minutes, the water should be drained and poured into a saucepan with fresh cold water, salt, and then put the dishes on high heat again. After boiling the second time, the fire should be reduced to a minimum and the mushrooms should be boiled for 20-40 minutes (small - 20, medium - 30, and large - 40). Over time, honey mushrooms should be overturned in a colander, and the water should be allowed to drain (it is better not to use broth, there is no benefit to the body in it, but it is full of harm).
The mushrooms are ready, now they can be pickled, salted, frozen, or you can make soup or salad from them and not be afraid that the bitterness will spoil the taste of the dish. You can store mushrooms after boiling for no more than two days, and strictly in the refrigerator on the bottom shelf, and before eating it, be sure to heat it: stew, fry, bake, etc.
