It is necessary

Chocolate, nuts, crust residues, biscuits, crackers, confectionery sprinkles, foil, coconut flakes

Instructions

Step 1

Chocolate is the most common product for decorating a cake and its sides. Of course, you will need to melt it for this. First, measure a piece of foil that is equal in length to the circumference of the cake and in width to the height of the cake. Lubricate the foil with vegetable oil. Melt the chocolate and add just a little butter to it. Now place the liquid chocolate in a bag, and make a hole at the tip. Draw a fence in random order on the foil. Place the chocolate foil in the refrigerator for one hour. When the chocolate has hardened, but not completely, wrap the foil around the cake in a circle. Now carefully remove the foil. The designer chocolate fence is ready! You can also make shavings from chocolate using a regular grater. Sprinkle the resulting shavings over the sides of the cake.

Step 2

Sprinkle nuts or sugar crushed bread over the edges of the cake. First, brush the sides of the cake with soft butter to keep the sprinkles well. After that, you can sprinkle the sides with nuts. For convenience, tilt the cake so that the nuts do not fall off immediately. You can use a mixture of nuts and sweet biscuits. Instead of butter, use sour cream whipped with sugar as a holding mass. If you add a teaspoon of cocoa to sour cream, you get a cream that resembles chocolate in color.

Step 3

Make a thick butter cream with 200 grams of sugar, 1 egg, 300 grams of butter, half a glass of milk. Beat the egg, mix it with sugar and milk. Put this mixture on fire and cook until thickened. Beat the butter with a mixer for 5 minutes. Then add the cooled mass in portions and continue whisking. The mass should eventually acquire a creamy state. Decorate the cake and its sides with this cream. On the sides, additionally apply confectionery sprinkles, coconut flakes, broken cookies or crust remnants.

Step 4

If you put butter cream in a pastry syringe, you can create interesting decorations or patterns on the sides of the cake. Use food coloring for creams, then your cake will sparkle with bright colors. After applying the cream and sprinkling on the sides, be sure to send the cake to the refrigerator for a while so that the decorations are frozen and hold well.

Step 5

Fry oatmeal in a dry frying pan, add a little sugar and sprinkle them on the sides of the cake, previously coated with cream or sour cream. Finely crushed nuts or coconut can be added to the oatmeal. In order for the flakes not to fall off, their layer must be thin enough. This also applies to other dressings.
