Lemonade is the perfect drink to refresh and quench your thirst in hot weather. Initially, it was made from lemon juice, but over time, other fruits and berries were also added to this drink, creating new flavor compositions.
Classic homemade lemonade
Such a drink not only refreshes well, but also saturates the body with useful vitamin C. To prepare it, you will need:
- 6 lemons;
- 1 liter of mineral water;
- 1 glass of granulated sugar;
- ice;
- mint for decoration.
Dissolve granulated sugar in mineral water, squeeze five lemons there and stir well. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator, then fill the glasses with ice and pour the prepared drink into them. Decorate the glasses with a sprig of mint, wedges of leftover lemon and serve lemonade to the table.
In the absence of mineral water, you can use the usual. In this case, you can heat it up a little so that the sugar dissolves faster.
How to make ginger lemonade
This lemonade has a pleasantly pungent taste and is extremely beneficial for health, because ginger is a storehouse of nutrients and helps to strengthen the immune system. To prepare it you need:
- 500 ml of lemon juice;
- 2 liters of water;
- 1, 5 glasses of sugar;
- 5 cm of ginger root;
- lemon circles for decoration.
Pour water into a non-oxidizable saucepan, heat it up, pour sugar into it and add peeled and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar completely, then remove from heat. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the sweet water and leave until the lemonade has cooled to room temperature. Then remove the ginger and put the drink in the refrigerator to cool well. Pour the finished lemonade into a beautiful jug and put the lemon circles there.
The amount of lemon juice can be increased or decreased, depending on your taste preference.
Mint Lemonade Recipe
Ingredients:
- 100 ml lime juice;
- 350 ml unsweetened sparkling water;
- 1, 5 Art. tablespoons of sugar syrup;
- circles of lime and mint.
Add the sugar syrup to the lime juice and stir well. Fill a glass with ice, a few slices of fresh lime, and some mint sprigs. Pour in the lime juice and sugar, followed by chilled soda. Mix everything well and serve.
Berry lemonade
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of raspberries;
- 1 liter of black currant;
- 150 g of sugar;
- 2 lemons;
- 1 liter of unsweetened soda.
Sort the berries and rinse under running water. Cover them with a glass of plain water and simmer until tender. Strain the berry broth, add sugar to the resulting juice and stir well. Mix the pre-chilled soda with the juice of two lemons, pour into the berry syrup, mix well. Pour the prepared lemonade into glasses with ice.
