Step 1
The classic beer recipe uses ingredients like hops and malt. You can replace them with concentrated wort, which is usually sold in the brewery. If you can buy natural beer wort, you can significantly reduce the preparation time for your favorite drink. Otherwise, you will have to start the process from scratch.
Step 2
Take half a bucket of barley malt and stir it with 2 buckets of clean, cool water. If the tap water is not of high quality, use water that has been previously filtered to remove rust and sand. The mixture should stand for at least 12 hours, so it is best to cook it in the evening and leave it alone overnight.
Step 3
In the morning, 12 hours after preparing the barley malt mixture, pour it into a container that can be put on fire. Add a teaspoon of table salt to the mixture. It is necessary to boil the ingredients for 2 hours. Then, 6 glasses of hops are placed in the container and the composition is continued to cook for another 20 minutes.
Step 4
The finished mixture must be cooled and filtered through clean gauze folded in 2 layers. Next, add brewer's yeast to the semi-finished beer, which can be purchased at any pharmacy. After that, the drink is left to ferment for 12 hours. As soon as the fermentation process is over, you can pour the beer into a prepared container. It is better to fill the corks and necks of bottles with wax.
Step 5
You can add a little sugar syrup to each bottle to increase the rate of carbonic acid production. In this case, beer in tightly closed bottles will undergo a secondary fermentation process. You can replace sugar syrup with natural honey and surprise your friends and family, as the drink will acquire a light honey flavor.
Step 6
It is advisable to try the drink after 12 hours, since during this time it will acquire a richer taste. Truly strong home-brewed beer can be drunk in a week. However, the full ripening of the drink will occur no earlier than 2 weeks.
