Tiramisu is the most popular dessert in the world. It is all the more surprising that it appeared quite recently, in the 70s of the last century. According to various versions, the invention of tiramisu is attributed to both Italians and Japanese. In any case, this is an excellent invention. Delicious, nutritious, aromatic, exquisite. And to create this miracle yourself is not so difficult.
Here's how to make tiramisu for 6 servings.
Brew a strong coffee - about a medium cup. Let it cool. Take 2 eggs, separate the yolks from the proteins. Beat the yolks with granulated sugar (4 tablespoons) in a mixer. It is necessary for the mixture to become light. Next, add the cheese. Best of all - mascapone (250 grams), but you can also Philadelphia (without any additives).
With a spoon, preferably a wooden one, knead the eggs and cheese thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. The whites must be whipped into a strong foam, and then mixed into the yolk-cheese mixture, otherwise - into the cream.
Cooled coffee (to room temperature), mix in a deep plate with a tablespoon of false cognac, rum or brandy.
Unfold the packet of Ladies Fingers cookies (250 grams). For tiramisu, you need about 15-23 cookies, depending on the size.
Prepare a rectangular shape. Take the cookies one by one and dip one side in the coffee and cognac. And so gradually fill the form with cookies. The wet side of the cookies should be up.
Now take the cream and spread it on the cookie layer, quite generously (cream layer, at least 2 cm). Then repeat the same with the second layer, with the third - until the cream remains.
Take a fine sieve, pour cocoa powder into it - a tablespoon. And through a strainer, carefully, pour the cocoa onto the surface of the almost finished tiramisu. Grated chocolate will not be superfluous.
Put it in the refrigerator for about six hours. If done at night, in the morning an elegant breakfast buffet with coffee.
