It is necessary

  • For a classic steak:
  • - beef tenderloin (dorsal or thigh) - 800 g;
  • - vegetable oil (olive or sunflower) for frying;
  • - salt;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - a frying pan (best of all grooved).
  • For a steak with egg:
  • - beef pulp - 500 g;
  • - chicken eggs - 6 pcs.;
  • - vegetable oil;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - fresh herbs;
  • - oven rack, frying pan.

Instructions

Step 1

The essential difference between beefsteak and cutlets is that the beefsteak is prepared only from meat, without adding anything. Onion, bread and so on are put into cutlets. Fresh chilled beef tenderloin is rightfully considered the most suitable meat for making a steak.

Step 2

It is not always possible to find a good cut. Therefore, if you got meat with a bone, then it will need to be removed. To prepare a classic steak, cut the pulp into 4 equal pieces no more than 3 cm thick. Then rinse them in cold water, and then dry, transfer to a board and brush with vegetable oil.

Step 3

Now take a dry skillet (preferably using a non-stick grooved skillet), heat it up and place the pieces of meat. Fry them on both sides until golden brown. Moreover, for better roasting, they will need to be turned over several times - fry 2-3 times on one side, and the same amount on the other. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Serve it hot with fresh vegetables.

Step 4

You can also make a steak from minced meat with a fried egg. To do this, chop 500 g of pulp into small pieces or pass through a meat grinder. Add 1 egg, black pepper and salt to the minced meat. Stir everything together and form 5 flat round patties.

Step 5

Coat them on both sides with vegetable oil and place on a wire rack on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Turn on the oven and preheat it to 200 degrees.

Step 6

Fry the pieces for 12 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the wire rack and turn the steak over to the other side, continuing to fry for another 12 minutes.

Step 7

Meanwhile, pour vegetable oil into a preheated pan, break 5 chicken eggs and, keeping the integrity of the yolk, fry the eggs until tender.

Step 8

When the steak is ready, transfer it to a dish, place a fried egg on top of each and serve, garnished with fresh chopped herbs.
