It is necessary

  • • 150 g squid (dried shavings);
  • • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds;
  • • 1 tablespoon of sugar;
  • • 2 teaspoons of ground pistachios;
  • • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • • 1 garlic clove.

Instructions

Step 1

Salted squid shavings can be found easily in grocery stores, especially near low-alcohol shelves.

In the original, Koreans take unsalted squid straws, so if you want to make a dish according to the original recipe, you can soak the squid in plain water before direct cooking and then dry it.

Step 2

Peel whole pistachios and turn them into powder - you can grind them in a mortar or put them in a blender bowl and grind them into dust. For two teaspoons of pistachio powder, you need about a dozen nuts.

Step 3

Take a large clove of garlic, peel and chop very finely.

Step 4

Arrange sesame seeds, granulated sugar, finely chopped clove of garlic on a plate. This plate should be within walking distance, because the cooking speed will be very high and there will simply be no time to get (measure) the necessary ingredients. Therefore, it is better to prepare everything in advance.

Step 5

Put the pan on medium heat, pour oil (vegetable) into it, which should heat up well. Throw in chopped garlic first, fry until a smell appears.

Step 6

Next, lay out the squid strips and, turning quickly, fry until browned.

Step 7

As soon as the squid acquires a golden brown color, pour granulated sugar into it, immediately turn off the heat and mix everything quickly.

Step 8

Put the shavings on a plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds, then pistachio powder. The appetizer is ready.
