You can use any flour to make bread sourdough. There is one "but" - the easiest way is to grow the correct sourdough from rye flour. Of course, the process of making sourdough takes time, but what a result! Homemade bread made with my own hands.

- 15 glasses of water;
- 2 handfuls of hops
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 400 grams of wheat flour;
- 1, 2 kg of peeled boiled mashed potatoes.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour water into a saucepan and add hops.
Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Strain the hot broth and cool to room temperature.
Add one tablespoon of salt, one glass of sugar, and flour.
Mix everything and put in heat for two days.
Step 3
After two days, add the mashed potatoes and mix.
Leave warm for another day.
Move everything a couple of times during this time.
Step 4
After a day, strain the leaven through a sieve.
The sourdough for the bread is ready.
