Cranberries are one of the most famous and useful berries that have beneficial properties. It is believed that this berry helps to fight colds and many other diseases, both for adults and children. Cranberries can be stored in the freezer, you can make jam and bake pies from it, or you can prepare a delicious and healthy drink.

Step 1
Before preparing any cranberry drink, you first need to prepare the berries. Sort the cranberries thoroughly, throwing out the spoiled berries and the remnants of the leaves. Rinse the berries under running water.
Step 2
Cranberry juice
Mash fresh berries with a spoon in a deep bowl. Put the crushed berries in cheesecloth and squeeze the cranberry juice through it into a bowl. Place the cranberry pomace in a saucepan, cover with water and boil for 5 minutes. Strain the fruit drink through cheesecloth into a bowl of cranberry juice. For 0.5 kg of berries, 1.5 liters of water are needed. Add sugar to the fruit drink, if necessary.
Step 3
Cranberry syrup
Squeeze 1 cup of cranberry juice from the berries. Pour the juice into a saucepan, add 1 glass of sugar to it. Bring juice and sugar to a simmer and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir constantly while boiling. After cooking, cool the syrup, pour it into a container and store it in the refrigerator.
Step 4
Cranberry kvass
500 gr. Mash berries, pour two liters of water and boil for 10 minutes. Strain the resulting fruit drink through cheesecloth into a jar. Take 10 g of yeast and dilute it in a little water. Pour yeast into a jar. Cover the jar with a lid and leave in a warm place for a day. Pour the kvass into bottles, and add a few raisins to each bottle, close the lids tightly and put it in the refrigerator. After three days, you can drink kvass.
Step 5
Cranberry jelly
Grind 150 g of cranberries in an enamel bowl and add 5 glasses of water. Boil the berries with water, then strain through cheesecloth. Put the strained water back on the fire and add 140 g of sugar to it. Bring to a boil. In 0, 5 tbsp. Dissolve 3 tablespoons of water of starch and pour the mixture into a saucepan in a thin stream. Stir constantly. Pour the jelly into glasses and cool.
