Step 1

Mozzarella pizza is prepared as follows. Preheat oven to 250 oC. Cut the tomatoes in half and cut the stems out. Grind them in a blender. Place in skillet and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. The paste should thicken.

While the sauce is cooking, knead the dough. Dissolve sugar, warm water and yeast in a separate bowl. Let the mass stand in this state for 5 minutes. Pour flour into another bowl, add salt and stir. Make a depression in the center.

Pour the water and yeast into the flour and start kneading the dough. You can use a spoon first and then your hands. Bring the dough until smooth. The dough will be sticky for a while, but don't add too much flour.

To cook the mozzarella pizza properly, add chopped garlic and 6 tablespoons of olive oil to the sauce. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Add 0.5 cups water and chopped basil.
