Homemade winemaking is real. There is an opinion that making wine is difficult and very troublesome. And this is not at all true. Of course, this interesting and creative process will take some time and effort. But it's worth it.
The best, natural and delicious wine is homemade. Especially if the fruits, berries, fresh and self-picked. Household wines usually have an alcoholic strength of 10-11 degrees. But if you add a little more sugar to it, then the strength will increase.
Strawberry wine
Ingredients: 2 kg of strawberries, 1 kg of sugar, 2 liters of water.
The berries must be sorted out, washed and dried. Pour into a container (best in a jar), cover with three glasses of sugar and pour cold boiled water. Then put it in the sun. When it begins to ferment, install a water seal and put in the shade for 3-3.5 weeks.
Has stopped fermenting (the wine has cleared and gas bubbles do not come out) - strain the wine, squeeze the pulp, add the rest of the sugar and let it ferment again under the shutter for 10-12 days. Then strain again, bottle, cover and place in a dark and cool place.
Blueberry wine
You will need: 1 kg of blueberries, 1 glass of sugar, 1.5 liters of water.
Rinse and dry ripe berries. Leave at room temperature for 1-2 days. Then rub through a sieve, mix with sugar and leave for 7-8 days to ferment. Then pour warm, boiled water, mix and pour into a jar. Let it sit for a month, then strain and bottle. Store in a dark place.
Cranberry wine
Ingredients: 2 kg of cranberries, 1 glass of water, 1 glass of apple juice, 1 kg of sugar.
Transfer the washed and sorted berries to a bowl and knead with your hands. Leave in the room for 2 weeks. Strain the cranberries well, pour into a jar, add water, juice, sugar. Stir and let ferment for 1-1.5 months. Then strain the wine, bottle it, cork it and leave to ripen in a cool, dark place for another 1-1.5 months. Strain again, pour and store.
Lemon sparkling wine
You will need: 1 lemon, 60 g of raisins, 60 g of honey, 2, 5 liters of water, ½ teaspoon of yeast, 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of flour, a little sugar.
Preparation: cut the zest and white film from the lemon, cut into circles, remove the seeds. Wash the raisins, dry them and mix with lemon and honey. Leave for a while to let the juice stand out and put on fire. Bring to a boil, add lemon zest and boil. Use flour, sugar and water to make a dough. Let it rise and mix with the lemon billet. Stir, pour into a jar and leave to ferment.
As soon as all the thickets float, strain and bottle the drink. Add a few raisins and 1 lemon peel to each bottle. Stopper and send to a dark and cold place. After 3-4 weeks the wine will be ready.
