Instructions

Step 1

It is not difficult to peel a peanut or peanut from the shell, it is fragile and bursts from a simple squeeze in the hand. However, under the shell, the main difficulty awaits you - the tasty kernels are covered with a dense brown shell, which is bitter and spoils the taste of peanuts. You need to get rid of this shell.

Step 2

A very popular method is roasting. Pour the nuts freed from the shells into a deep frying pan and place on the stove, preheated to 200 degrees. Roast the nuts by shaking the pan from time to time or stirring the peanuts with a wooden spatula. Do not leave the pan unattended - the nuts may burn.

Step 3

Finished nuts take on a beautiful light beige color. Already in the process of roasting, the dense skin becomes thinner and begins to lag behind the nucleoli.

Step 4

Remove the pan from the heat, transfer the nuts to another container. Wait for them to cool slightly. Start exfoliating - lightly rub the peanuts between your fingers, the husks will fall off the nucleoli. If it doesn’t give way, you probably just didn’t roast the nuts. Return them to the pan and repeat the process.

Step 5

If you do not want to be on duty at the frying pan with a spatula at the ready, you can also fry in the oven. Spoon the nuts onto a baking sheet in an even layer. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the baking sheet inside. The peanuts will be ready in 10 minutes. The exfoliation is carried out as described above.

Step 6

Another way is to roast the nuts in the microwave. Place the peanuts on a flat plate, cover with a microwave-safe lid on top. Turn on the oven for 5 minutes. Try peeling the husk off the walnut. If it does not give in, the process must be repeated.

Step 7

If you don't like the specific taste of roasted peanuts, you can do otherwise. Please note that this method will take significantly longer. Place the nuts in a deep container and cover with hot water. Leave in this position for two to three hours. Then remove the peanuts and easily remove the swollen husks with your fingers.
