It often happens that homemade cutlets turn out to be a little dry. To fix this, it is enough to prepare a sauce based on sour cream, milk and water. These ingredients will make the meat softer and juicier. This sauce can also be used to season a side dish, which will be served with cutlets.
It is necessary
- For cutlets:
- - minced meat 500 g
- - onion 2 pcs.
- - garlic 4 cloves
- - a slice of white bread
- -salt and pepper to taste
- - dried herbs 2 tsp
- For the sauce:
- - carrots 1 pc.
- - onion 2 pcs.
- - sour cream 3 tbsp. spoons
- - milk 50 ml
- - water 150 ml
- - dried herbs
Instructions
Step 1
Soak a slice of bread in a little milk, squeeze well and add to the minced meat.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and garlic and also combine with the minced meat. Salt and pepper the meat, add dried herbs and mix everything well.
Step 3
Form small cutlets, roll in flour and fry in vegetable oil until tender.
Step 4
To prepare the sauce, grate the carrots on a fine grater, cut the onion into cubes and fry everything together until golden brown.
Step 5
Add water, sour cream, milk, dried herbs and spices to vegetables. Simmer all ingredients for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Pour the cutlets with the resulting sauce, hold on low heat for another 5 minutes and let the dish brew a little. Mashed potatoes, rice or buckwheat are well suited as a side dish.
