Cooking soft and juicy beef can be tricky, especially if baked in one large piece. It is important to cook the meat carefully and carefully, and then you will get a wonderful, fragrant, festive dish, saturated with the aromas of vegetables and spices.

It is necessary

    • A piece of beef (ribs or thick rim),
    • salt
    • pepper
    • seasonings for meat,
    • 3-4 pcs. tomatoes,
    • 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
    • 2 tbsp. l. mustard,
    • 2 pcs. bulbs,
    • 1 red bell pepper
    • garlic
    • 150 g Korean carrots,
    • sleeve for baking.

Instructions

Step 1

For baking beef, choose a not very fatty piece (better with a bone, you can have a sacrum or a brisket with ribs). Wash the meat well, dry it with paper towels and make an incision along the entire piece.

Step 2

Rub the beef with salt, pepper and seasoning for meat, place in a deep bowl. Coat the meat on all sides with a mixture of mayonnaise and mustard and put in the refrigerator to marinate for 4-6 hours.

Step 3

Wash the tomatoes, cut into circles. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds. And cut into thin half rings.

Step 4

Mix tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and Korean carrots. Place the entire vegetable mixture on the bottom of a roasting sleeve. Place the sleeve on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Remove the marinated meat from the refrigerator and sprinkle with small pieces of garlic. Gently place the beef in a roasting sleeve on the vegetable pad. Tie on both sides and make several punctures at the top of the sleeve to allow air to escape.

Step 6

Put in an oven preheated to 220 degrees. When vegetables boil, reduce heat to 160 degrees. Bake for 1-1.5 hours. 10 minutes before cooking, you need to cut the sleeve on top to brown the meat. Pierce the beef with a knife, if clear juice is released, then the meat is ready.

Step 7

Our delicious and aromatic dish is ready. Serve on a platter with fresh vegetables and herbs. Decorate with olives and lemon circles.
