Apples are especially good for eating with their skins. But before consumption, the fruit must be kept in water for 5 minutes in order to get rid of harmful substances with which they could be sprayed.
In second place in terms of the content of nutrients are pickled apples, the amount of ascorbic acid in which is higher than in fresh fruits. This is why it is good to eat them to strengthen the immune system. They also stimulate appetite, improve intestinal motility and enrich the body with potassium.
If eating fresh or pickled apples is undesirable due to stomach problems, you can eat them baked. Of course, fruits cooked in the oven are less useful, but they still retain some of the nutrients. Baked apples, for example, help lower blood cholesterol levels and restore digestion by being high in pectin. And if you eat them with honey, you can also increase the body's resistance to various infections.
It is not worth baking apples with honey, since when heated, honey loses all its useful substances. But you can pour over still hot apples.
