Batter shrimp can be served as a main course and as an appetizer. It is very tasty, suitable for large feasts and is done very quickly.

- - 450 g shrimp
- - 3 tomatoes
- - 100 ml of vegetable oil
- - 1 egg
- - 1 lemon
- - 100 ml of milk
- - bread crumbs
- - flour
- - 3 cloves of garlic
- - basil, thyme and salt to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the lemon into 2 halves, squeeze out the juice. Peel the shrimps, add salt and lemon juice, then leave for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
In a separate container, with a fork or whisk, beat the egg until whitening, add milk and a few tablespoons of flour, salt, spices to your taste. Stir well again.
Step 3
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it well. Dip the shrimp in batter, then dip in breadcrumbs and put in boiling oil, fry until tender. After frying, place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Step 4
Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the peel. Put the tomatoes in a blender, add peeled garlic, a few tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice there, chop. Put the mixture in a small saucepan, bring to a boil and cool.
Step 5
Place the shrimp in a serving dish, add the sauce and serve.
